Words from the Leadership

  • Each year every youth group goes through changes. Teens head off to college, full time careers, military or new adventures. It is our prayer that wherever God leads them that they go equipped to spread the Gospel, but I see a bigger calling. Not only for them to go equipped, but also willing. I want to encourage each Student from FBC St. Marys to go be in the world and not of the world. Jesus says in John 15:19 "If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of it, the world hates you." So with life and its many worldly pressures against you, remember as Pastor Steve would say "Remember who you are and Whose you are!" Show others the love, mercy, compassion and forgiveness that Christ has shown us. I love each and every one of you and I know with your willingness, God will use you for great things in His name.

About the Leadership

  • Mr. Cameron Reed (Youth Pastor): Hey Guys! Thanks for stopping and taking a look at our Youth Page! It is my pleasure to serve, love, and teach as the Youth Pastor at FBC. I was called on staff in July of 2017 and I am excited to get to know you and to connect you to the gospel through the many different events we have throughout the week! I graduated from Charleston Southern University in May of 2016 and Married my wife Brett (Girls Sunday School teacher) in July of the same year. If you have any questions about what we have going on here at FBC, feel free to give me a call at the Church Office (912)-882-4250 or email me at: cameron@fbcstmarys.com or youth@fbcstmarys.com
  • Mr. Nick Ayres (Adult Youth Leader): Hello I am extremely excited to be called to the Youth Ministry at First Baptist St. Marys. I am 37 years old and have been married to my wife Bri for over 18 years and have 3 amazing children.
