Senior Adults

This is the space for all things related to Senior Adult Ministries here at First Baptist Church. Watch as it grows, and please send your recommendations on what you'd like to see here.
 

Our purpose: To encourage those in our church fellowship who are 50 and over to participate in activities that foster spiritual growth and health, age-level educational pursuits, evangelistic outreach, and wholesome fellowship events.

Coming up:

  • Thursday, April 19, 6:00 PM – Regular monthly Senior Adult Covered Dish supper. Bring an entree, a side, or a dessert, but most importantly: bring yourself

  • Monday, April 23 – Senior Care Ctr. Of St. Marys (Convalescent) – 10am Choir

  • Thursday, May 3 – Movie Night, with popcorn and drinks. Whatever we show will be family friendly and fun.

  • Monday, May 14 - Coastal Assisted Living (MEWS) - 10am Choir

  • Saturday, May 19 - Possible trip to Silver Springs if enough interest. Cost approximately $32 plus food. Call the church office - 912-882-4250 - to sign up.
